The photo-film kit
This kit will turn one photograph into a short depth film in Blender.
When you copy and paste, the assistant reads the kit and asks for the photograph. Rendering needs Blender on your machine.
What is in the kit
README.mdandSKILL.md: instructions for a coding agent, including how to describe the camera path.scripts/: the four steps. Prepare the depth and camera motion, build the Blender scene, render the 1,320 frames, then make the mp4 and check it.scene/: a generated still of a room and a Blender file with the mat and frame.depth_anything_v2/: the code for the Depth Anything V2 Small depth model, with its license. The 99 MB model weights are not in the kit; the README links to them.spec.example.json,requirements.txtandLICENSE: an example job, the Python packages, and the MIT license for the kit's scripts and instructions.
The film is one mp4, 1080 x 1920, 60 frames per second, 22 seconds, with no sound unless you name a music file. Your photograph is used untouched. It needs a coding agent that can run commands on your computer, Blender 5 or later, Python 3.12 or later, FFmpeg and about 8 GB of free disk space. Tested on a Mac with Apple silicon. One photograph per film.
